No matter how much you hate it history is bound to repeat itself
In the beginning there existed two worlds. One known as the Realm of Eternity belonged to a race called the Sidhe. They were creatures of light that possessed great magic and skills that were god-like. Their beauty and grace rivaled that of the sun and moon, but since they rarely bothered to come out of their world they became only legends told at night to lull little children to sleep.
The second world called Earth belonged to a multitude of races. The Sidhe and their world developed first, but as the other races grew in numbers the Sidhe grew envious and wanted to expand their own race as well. But try as they might they could not give birth to sons or daughters. Time passed and their hunger for new life drove them mad. Many driven by this overwhelming need to have little ones to care for gave their lives in this pursuit until finally after the lose of countless Sidhe lives four children were born. Ravenna was the only one who had not bothered to partake in the insane project her brothers and sisters had taken up saying it was a waste and nothing good could come from it. She did not realize how true her words were until after the destruction of her entire race.
Hatred for the children burned deep within her and without a thought she cast the four out of the Realm of Eternity and onto Earth where she vowed never to lay eyes on them again…but she did not keep that vow.
They were found by a farming couple and raised as normal humans inside of Ithillian, the Kingdom of Light, and they would’ve been accepted…if not for their strong powers.
When the others saw the unusual things that the four children could do they began to be called demons and were thrown out of Ithillian. The children were hurt and vowed to take revenge on the ones who had scorned them. Years passed and the four children came back as adults who soon took over Ithillian as well as the four surrounding kingdoms. They began to rule the kingdoms with cold cruelty and as they killed for pleasure the humans and other races grew to hate them. Civil wars were a constant source in those early days, and there seemed like no end was in sight. Ravenna watched all these events unfold with guilt in her heart and knew that if she had just kept the children in the Sidhe Realm none of this would’ve happened and the humans would be safe.
With a determination to solve that which she had caused Ravenna created the Platinum Circlet. In it she gathered all the residual magic left in her world and placed it in the circlet. Whoever wore the circlet would be given powers matched only by her own, protection, wisdom and grace that no race could ever dream of possessing and it far surpassed the powers of the four Sidhe children.
Going to Earth she gave the circlet to a human girl who had lost her family and said that with it she could once again bring peace to the world. The girl, Dawn, took up the crown and with it’s power was able to defeat the four who had caused such havoc everywhere, but before she could kill them in revenge Ravenna stepped in. She would take full responsibility for the trouble and sent the four Sidhe born back to the Realm of Eternity. Restoring the world back to it’s original beauty Ravenna left taking the Platinum Circlet with her. No one would ever know that Ravenna had killed the four Sidhe born children so that peace would remain in the lands.
However what she did not know was that the four had children of their own and those descendants were living on Earth. When she found the descendants of the four Sidhe children they had already established themselves as rulers of four of the Kingdoms. She was about to kill them herself when she saw that instead of causing havoc like their mothers and fathers they were helping the land flourish. Seeing this she let them live, but to be wary she once more sent the Platinum Circlet to Ithillian along with the Dawn’s Light test. Whoever could pass the test and claim the power of the Platinum Circlet, be they a man or woman, would have control over Ithillian and the other Kingdoms. The people were wary of Ravenna and her proclamation at first but after seeing the Platinum Circlet’s power and how much it did for the people they agreed to her terms that the ruler of Ithillian would be the one who could weild the power of the Platinum Circlet as well as watch over the other Kingdoms.
And so in this way the world came to be. Time has passed well since then, but once more evil is stirring. The Lunato Council is a group that has recently shown their faces. Their goal is to steal the Plaintum Circlet and use it for their own as well as cause as much havoc as possible. They come from all different backgrounds and they have been the cause for many problems within the five kingdoms. Their leader is unknown except to members but it is a known fact that the Lunato Council is getting stronger and that wherever they strike darkness grows in the form of demons. It is a power that is granted to every member and because of that they are feared.
Queen Igraine, the current holder of the Platinum Circlet, is growing weaker as she fights the growing Lunato Council as well as the growing darkness in the lands. Because of this she has proclaimed that the competition for the next Dawn's Light is to be held soon in hopes that a stronger ruler will appear and protect the lands as well as the Platinum Circlet. Many are entering in hopes of gaining power and it is rumored that a member of the Lunato Council has entered the race. Where does the line between good and evil begin? What is truth and what is deceit? Who really knows.
Here is where your journey starts my friend. Will you take up the challenge and become a candidate to become the next Dawn’s Light and stop the evil that is spreading through the lands? Will you journey through life the easy way just watching as these things happen and taking sides now and then? Or will you be a member of the Lunato council a person feared and respected because of your powers? You make the decision.
